Community Outreach
Junior Service League of Brooksville is a non-profit volunteer organization that has served Hernando County for over 80 years. We have several committees geared towards specific needs like women's services and children's services, but we, also, have committees that focus on more broad community needs. We also partner with other non-profits and social service organizations assisting them through service hours and financial means.

Food For Families
Junior Service League of Brooksville partners with the Hernando County School District Students & Families in Transition Program. Through this partnership, during the Spring & Winter Breaks, we pack bags providing breakfast, lunch, & snacks for the homeless & transient student population. Annually, we provide food for approximately 150 students.

Belle of the Ball
Stay tuned for 2023's Belles...
Each Spring, local high school senior girls are nominated by their guidance counselors.
Often, the young ladies who are nominated shine even through difficult situations, to be our “Belle” for her senior prom. We partner with David's Bridal to provide our Belles with their gown, accessories, and shoes.
We also partner with local hairstylists, nail technicians & makeup artists to ensure our these young women will be the Belle of the Ball for their once in a lifetime senior prom nights!
