FOOD FOR FAMILIES
Junior Service League of Brooksville partners with the Hernando County School District Students & Families in Transition Program. Through this partnership, during the Spring & Winter Breaks, we pack bags providing breakfast, lunch, & snacks for the homeless & transient student population. Annually, we provide food for approximately 200 students.
STUDENT SUPPORT
Junior Service League of Brooksville provides support to students in Hernando County through scholarships, assisting seniors with graduation and prom expenses, and sponsoring clubs and teams within the school system. We recognize the importance of education and the lasting memories made during a student’s career; it is our privilege to help as many students as we can.
COMMUNITY CLEAN UP
Hernando County has so much to offer through its beautiful parks, beaches, and historical charm. We take pride in our community and strive to be good stewards of Hernando County and the Nature Coast. We regularly participate in community clean up and beautification projects and make it a mandatory part of our membership requirements.
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
We have a variety of partnerships with community organizations through volunteerism and fiscal contributions. We give scholarships, volunteer at community events, and provide sundry donations.
